These recipes each showcase a single hop variety of your choice. Every hop variety is unique; this can include flavors described as piney, earthy, tropical fruit, lemon, dank, white wine, lime, spicy, grapefruit, herbal... the list goes on!
All of these beers will be light in body and color with a freshly bitter finish. We will have a rotating choice of hops featured throughout the year so if you see one you want to try, grab it before it's gone!
Currently Featured Single Hop Recipes
Cascade: This US grown hop features a floral spiciness. The aroma of Cascade comes with citrus, sometimes compared to grapefruit. This is a true American hop variety.
Nelson Sauvin: Distinct white wine "fruitiness" with fresh crushed gooseberry and grape infused flavors. An extreme hop used in specialty beers and grown in New Zealand.
Citra: Strong citrus and tropical tones of grapefruit, melon, lime, gooseberry, passion fruit and lychee.
Green Bullet: This New Zealand hop variety balances floral and piney bittering flavors and features aromas of spicy dried fruit. This hop produces a clean, refreshing IPA.
Sorachi Ace: The variety originated in HokkaidÅ , Japan for Sapporo Breweries in the late 1970s. This hop has a characteristic bold lemon flavor with hints of lime and dill.
Falconers Flight: This an exclusive hop was created by HopUnion in Yakima Valley Washington to honor the late Northwest brewing Legend Glen Hay Falconer. This variety is a blend of some of the most unique hops from the region including Citra, Sorachi Ace and Simcoe among others. Known for its pungent flavor and aroma that is described as tropical, floral, lemon and citrus.
Pacific Jade: Developed by the New Zealand Institute for Plant and Food Research hop breeding program, this hop is well-suited for bittering, but also delivers bold citrus and spice aromas with hints of black pepper.
