Blichmann Engineering's simple-to-use BrewEasy system is an ultra-compact all-grain brewing system that offers ramping, as with a traditional RIMS system, yet the simplicity of a brew-in-a-bag system. It also eliminates the need for sparging, saving you a ton of time in the process. The 2 kettle recirculation infusion mash system (called Kettle-RIMS) also eliminates the need for a HLT (hot liquor tank) that you'll find with traditional 3-tier systems, while giving you ultra clear wort courtesy of it's recirculation process. To start your brew day, all you need to do is simply add about half of your water into the bottom kettle (boil kettle) and the rest in your upper kettle (mash tun). Next, you'll set your AutoSparge, turn on the pump and add heat, then sit back as it recirculates from the boil kettle to your mash tun, and back into the boil kettle. Once dough-in temperature is reached, simply turn off the pump and add in your malts. The easy ramping process, through several temperature rests is as easy as simply turning on your burner. Once the mash is complete, turn off the pump, and you'll drain all the wort from your mash tun into the boil kettle.
